Pair of glass vases with design of phoenixes, chrysanthemums, and paulownias
The Dalian Ceramic Company produced high quality crystal glass which was technically difficult to produce within Japan at the time. Phoenixes, chrysanthemums, and paulownias, which are design symbols of the Imperial family, are applied with glass-gravure (engraving) on the body.
