Timed-Entry System

Advance Booking Required
Please book/purchase timed-entry tickets online prior to your visit . No tickets can be purchased on-site or over the telephone.
Visitors eligible for free admission must also make a reservation.
* Visitors with disabilities (along with the one assistant) will be admitted for free without reservation.

Walk-in Ticket Sales Trial (April 9–May 12, 2024)

During the above trial period, a limited number of walk-in tickets are to be sold at the Museum on the day of the visit.

Please note:
- This does not guarantee walk-in tickets at the time of your visit as places are limited and subject to availability.
- As the number of available on-site tickets may change minute by minute, we are not able to answer inquiries on the availability over the telephone.
- Pre-booked ticket holders will be given priority entry.
- On April 12, 19, 26, and May 10 when the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace are closed, no tickets are sold on site and entry is permitted for pre-booked ticket holders only.
