The museum is temporarily closed to expand our facilities.
Full reopening is scheduled for autumn 2026.

While in the Galleries
- - Photography and video recording are not allowed unless otherwise indicated.
- - Photography of objects is permitted, only where indicated by signs, for personal and non-commercial purposes.
(Please do not use flashes, additional lighting, panorama mode, selfie sticks, tripods, and monopods; do not stay in one spot for too long.) - - Please switch your phone to silent mode and refrain from talking on the phone.
- - Please do not touch any exhibits or showcases.
- - Please only use wooden graphite pencils to make notes. The use of other writing utensils (including pens and mechanical pencils) is not allowed.
- - Food or drinks are not allowed.
- - Please do not disturb other visitors.
- - Temperature, humidity, and lighting inside the galleries are controlled for the conservation of the works on display.
Entering the Building
- - The exhibition galleries are accessible for visitors in wheelchairs and those with baby strollers.
- - Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
- - Coin-operated lockers are available. (A 100-yen coin is needed to use one; the coin will be returned after use.)

Number of large lockers (50.5 x 34.6 x 42.2 cm): 6 - - Large bags and luggage are not allowed inside.
- - Re-entry is not permitted after exiting.
