The Museum of the Imperial Collections, Sannomaru Shozokan will be hiring an Associate Fellow for English-language interpretive content and international relations.
    Benefits will include health care, pension, and paid travel expenses; and the opportunity to increase one’s knowledge across a wide variety of art genres.
    Responsibilities will include translating exhibit labels and other materials from Japanese into English in a way that is engaging and accessible for general audiences; interpreting for foreign guests such as museum professionals, ambassadors, and politicians; and communicating with other museums as required.

Applicants must have good interpersonal skills for working in a Japanese-language setting, write excellent English, and be knowledgeable in Japanese art and its related Japanese terminology.
    An MA or equivalent academic or professional experience is strongly preferred.
