Confectionary bowl with cherry blossom design

Confectionary bowl with cherry blossom design

Layers of cherry blossoms are expressed using various subtle shades of rogin, an alloy of silver and copper differing in color by changing the ratio of the metals. It is a refined work showing the difference of texture by fine hammer marks throughout the outer surface, compared to the polished surface inside of the bowl.
