Ko-kyo (the Confucian Book)
Ko-kyo (the Confucian Book)
The complete Kinbun Kokyo written in sosho ( script ) style writing. There is a comment at the end of the scroll stating that it was handwriting by He Zhizhang ( 659-744 ), a Tang poet from Chekiang Province, and secretary in the court. He was fond of alcohol, was full of eccentricities, and often wrote sosho calligraphy.(「New Edition Grace, Beauty and Inqenuity-Masterpices of the Museum of Imperial Collections, Sannomaru Shozokan Vol.1」2003)
