Poplar
Poplar trees stretch out in the vertical format of this oil painting. The shadows of the trees on the surface of the water sway in the ripples, and the clouds in the sky seem to be moving, giving the viewer a sense of the dynamic movement of the wind. Nakagawa Hachiro, who excelled at landscape paintings, exhibited this work at the 5th Art Exhibition of the Ministry of Education.（「Imperial Splendor：Artworks Related to the Tohoku Region」2021）
