The scene of the desperate struggle between the army of Nitta Yoshiaki and the Ashikaga in 1336 are depicted dexterously in the limited visual range differing from a hand scroll, based on modern spatial composition featuring ingenious group arrangement influenced by western painting perspective while also studying old paintings.
