It was created by Mikimoto Kokichi (1858-1954) who was the first person worldwide to be successful in the cultivation of pearls. Gift from Mie Prefecture celebrating the Enthronement Ceremonies of 1928. (「Art Works to Celebrate the Enthronement Ceremonies」2019)
