This is a scenery Kokan painted often, a view of Enoshima facing Mt. Fuji, seen from Shichirigahama in southwest Kamakura. Among the same type of landscapes he painted, this piece shows his strength in expression based on his own sketches, in areas such as the accurate position of Mt.
