A screen with small bamboo blinds. A cherry blossom tree is painted on the same position on each side of the screen on gold ground. Flowing water, bamboo shoots, azalea and dandelions are placed around the cherry tree heightening the atmosphere of springtime. It is the outstanding work of Kano Tsunenobu (1636- 1713 ) who participated in the room partition paintings of the newely constructed palace 3 times.(「New Edition Grace, Beauty and Inqenuity-Masterpices of the Museum of Imperial Collections, Sannomaru Shozokan Vol.1」2003)
