Calligraphy – Japanese Calligraphy
This is passed down as a letter written in kana by Abutsuni(?-1283). A waka poem is written in 2 lines. with a sentence added stating that she is sending a poem composed by herself. The paper of letter was reused to reinforcing another book, but was stripped off and mounted because of its value.(「New Edition Grace, Beauty and Inqenuity-Masterpices of the Museum of Imperial Collections, Sannomaru Shozokan Vol.1」2003)
