A letter written in kana by Saigyo ( 1118-90 ) in his latter years. The term "en'i" shows that it was written after Saigyo became a priest. It is a letter to remind Fujiwara no Toshinari and Sadaie for their evaluation words considering Saigyo's two poems.(「New Edition Grace, Beauty and Inqenuity-Masterpices of the Museum of Imperial Collections, Sannomaru Shozokan Vol.1」2003)
