Calligraphy – Japanese Calligraphy

A scroll of paper sheets which were originally in a form of a book. It includes volume 13 and a part of volume 14. The paper is decorated with scattered mica particles and glod foil, and white lined blocks. Though the characters are written within the blocks, they maintain a relaxed, decorous style.(「New Edition Grace, Beauty and Inqenuity-Masterpices of the Museum of Imperial Collections, Sannomaru Shozokan Vol.1」2003)
