Crafts – Cloisonné Enamels

The shape is from an ancient Chinese bronze ware liquor cask. Arabesque patterns are expressed by copper wire in the background, and the color of the glaze shows complex coloring of translucent mixed yellow and brown. Dancers and gagaku instruments are expressed showing Namikawa's style at an early stage.(「New Edition Grace, Beauty and Inqenuity-Masterpices of the Museum of Imperial Collections, Sannomaru Shozokan Vol.2」2003)
