It is made by various techniques and materials such as hand-woven brocade, dyed leather, embroidery, homespun cotton etc. The motifs are various such as traditional Japanese flowing water and chrysanthemum, Chinese dragon, various treasures, western stylized flower pattern, etc.(「New Edition Grace, Beauty and Inqenuity-Masterpices of the Museum of Imperial Collections, Sannomaru Shozokan Vol.2」2003)
