There are three famous books for poem recitation in the Imperial Collection, among which this is the most famous. The paper used is decorated Chinese paper, and the characters are written in a mixture of kaisho ( block ), gyosho ( semi-cursive ), and sosho (cursive) styles, with kana characters added.(「New Edition Grace, Beauty and Inqenuity-Masterpices of the Museum of Imperial Collections, Sannomaru Shozokan Vol.1」2003)
